Carly King is a writer, certified Reiki energy healer, certified therapeutic dance movement guide and Embodied Transformation Coach through JourneyDance™, and a practitioner of embodied healing and soul connection. She founded her healing arts practice, CarlySoul, in 2017 to offer safe spaces for people who see to explore, shift and connect into their most authentic and aligned relationship of self and with others. She believes in the foundation of deep-process work and in working closely with the body and emotional landscapes as a path to healing and shifting the relationship we have with ourselves and thus to integrating the healing into our relations with others. Carly facilitates spaces of support for those who desire a neutral witness and a place to self-inquire and process from where they currently are.
Within her one on one work especially- she has seen the capacity each individual has in gradually connecting with the healer that is within them – given the time and space to do so.
Her path in working within the healing arts field initially began as a way to emotionally heal through two pivotal life shifts brought on by the long dying process of her mother who had a terminal lung disease and the divorce of her marriage. The challenges experienced during these periods of time became catalysts guiding her to seek and explore various healing modalities, such as acupuncture, Somatic therapy, EFT, Reiki energy work, and therapeutic movement. Prior to working in the healing arts, Carly worked in higher education administration within multicultural affairs in Philadelphia, PA. She has a B.A. in Women’s Studies from University of Delaware and an M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Drexel University. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Carly has been living on the island of Grenada since 2014. It is through the gradual healings and integrations within herself and her life that naturally called her into soulwork that supports others along their paths of inner-alignment, connection, emotional well-being and intimacy, and embodied healing.
